Following this year’s successful comeback, OAF 2023 continues to work on its unique atmosphere with nearly 100 acts, spectacular stage shows and a one-of-a-kind festival experience. The pre-sale for tickets 2023 will start on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 4 p.m. exclusively on www.ticketmaster.ch.

It is with great pleasure to announce that US superstar and RAP heavyweight TRAVIS SCOTT will play an exclusive show at Openair Frauenfeld 2023.

With the hyped and authentic Berlin rapper LUCIANO, who combines explosive UK drill with raw German rap, and NINA CHUBA, shooting star from Hamburg and female protagonist of bouncing dancehall and German female rap, two of the hottest German acts are confirmed. In addition, 22-year-old US rapper KEN CARSON, who is shaping the international rap scene with his powerful beats and avant-garde looks, has also confirmed his debut at OAF 23. Over 91 acts will follow in the coming weeks.

Authentic, unique and on the pulse of time: Europe’s biggest hip-hop festival, Openair Frauenfeld, OAF for short, returns from July 6 to 8, 2023 with an international top-class line-up (including five pre-shows on Wednesday, July 5, 2023). Up to 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the festival experience with a huge camping area every day. The OAF 2023 will be big: Even more acts. Even more stages. Even more experience.

From Thursday to Saturday, there will no longer be 20, but around 30 acts per day to entertain the fans. In addition, five acts will perform on Wednesday to kick off a packed festival program. On the first day, they will all play on a newly designed, visually impressive stage, which offers space for about 10,000 spectators. This means that in 2023 there will be almost a hundred acts playing throughout the festival – that’s 50 percent more live sound! And full of the best that urban music, hip hop, rap, trap and drill currently has to offer on the international and national stage.

That’s why it’s so popular with fans not only because of the music and live acts, but because on the Grosse Allmend you can chill with your crew like nowhere else, celebrate the best parties, eat, drink and enjoy the festival life with all your senses. That’s why in 2023 the festival “Infield” will be enlarged by 30 percent within the existing perimeter. (In this process, the Camping A area will be rearranged. This area will be used as an additional festival area): The food & beverage offer will be broader and more refined, and visitors can expect even more specials and activities from many lifestyle, music and entertainment brands known and loved by the target group.
